New Policy effective 11/29/19!:
50% Deposit required upon booking an appointment for any of our services; balance due at time of service. This is non-negotiable and non-refundable, and will be invoiced to the client via email. Client agrees to pay the deposit in order to confirm the appointment. If the deposit is not received, the appointment will be canceled and given to another client.
ONLY appointments with paid deposits will be kept. This is a result of high rates of cancellations and no-shows.
Groupon clients: A booking deposit of $20 is due at time of booking and will become the tip for therapist once the session has been completed. This is non-refundable & non-negotiable. Refunds are gladly given through Groupon if client doesn’t agree with these terms.

At Healing Hands Massage & Bodywork, we see the individual in you. We care. This is not your typical massage, and you won’t get a cookie-cutter massage. What you will receive is warm, nurturing care. We have a more holistic approach to massage, and care for you as the person you are, not only your symptoms.

We may not be able to answer the phone immediately, because we are a small practice and are often busy with clients, but we will return your call as quickly as we can. We’ll answer any questions you have, whether about a specific injury or condition and if massage may be appropriate, or if you have just never had a massage before and have basic questions about it (if so, please see our FAQ page for more information, but feel free to call also!).

Healing Hands Massage & Bodywork offers a wide variety of services including basic Swedish massage and deep tissue massage, while also incorporating Reiki as well as many spa services for the total wellness and relaxation experience. We customize every appointment to fit your perfect needs, tailored just for you. Back pain stressing you out? We can give a light Swedish massage over most of the body, with more intensive deep work on your target areas, and top it off with a Sleepy Head scalp massage and hair treatment to balance out resolving your pain issues with your perfect relaxation. Having some shoulder pain but also have dry skin? Consider some deep shoulder triggerpoint therapy, along with a whole body Swedish massage that incorporates warm cocoa butter to nourish and moisturize your skin. The possibilities are endless! How about Reiki? YES! We love offering Reiki as part of your whole well being. If you aren’t familiar with Reiki, please read more about it here. Healing Hands also specializes in Lymphatic Drainage Massage, and we have many clients in and around the Charleston area that are in need of this service. We also provide outcalls (women and couples only, please) so if you are too busy to travel to us, or if you are dealing with cancer or another illness and unable to get to our office, please ask about rates.
We are a small practice in Charleston, SC of a few licensed massage therapists with experience working on all types of bodies. By request, you can see the same therapist each time. Over time, your therapist will get better and better at identifying and relieving your problem areas, remembering where you need a little extra attention. Since the owner is a massage therapist, she understands the importance of the therapists' being happy in their environment, in order to provide you with the best personalized massage and customer service.
Our rates are competitive, and if you want to make massage a lifestyle, we offer discount packages to make it easier to fit into your budget. Our main studio is in West Ashley on Highway 61, convenient to 526 and the historic gardens. We also provide outcalls for women, couples, and events all around the Charleston area.
We have services offered by pricier spas, including aromatherapy, salt scrubs, and body wraps. Couples' massages are particularly popular for romantic occasions. Are you looking to try something new and different? Then ask about incorporating Reiki into your session. Short on time? Then try a chair massage for your back, neck, and shoulders.
