Lymphatic Drainage Massage Relieves Symptoms of:

How does it feel?

Lymphatic Drainage Massage is a light touch, compressive massage technique. It is gentle, soothing, and relaxing. After this massage, you will likely sleep better, have more energy, and feel better than you have in a while.

How often should I come?

The best results are achieved with a series of massages. Anna also offers gentle suggestions on overall health to maintain these results. Two follow-ups are recommended within a few weeks of your first massage. Future follow-ups may take place any time you have extra stress, eat poorly, change your routine, or otherwise feel the need for a health boost. Like regular massage, lymphatic drainage is a powerful tool of preventative medicine and promotes a healthy lifestyle.

Who is the massage therapist?

Anna Nielson has extensively trained in Lymphatic Drainage Massage and is one of the few certified therapists in the Charleston area. She possesses a rare gift with her soothing, healing touch. She is also a Reiki II Practitioner, which she may incorporate into her sessions. She has practiced massage since 2007.

May I get some deep tissue work in the same session?

No. A lymph drainage session has a definitive purpose, and deep pressure is not compatible. You may find that the gentle massage relieves your muscles aches and pains, or you may book a deep tissue session at a later time.

What is your schedule?

Anna Nielson is available on Wednesdays and Fridays, and has further availability by request. For a non-Wednesday, please call at least a week in advance. For best results, consider our packages, which may be purchased on the website, or decided upon after your first visit with Anna.
